New Sporran!

Recommended Posts

I was asked by a Baptist on the east coast to make him a hunting sporran. It came out great! So I should show it off.

And the very satisfied gentleman wearing it!

It was designed so that the cantle can be put on or taken off at will, which is why some of the pictures show chicago screws as well as rivets. What do you all think?

Nice work Nighthawk.

Also as a Proud Scot ( Clan MacKay )

Could you possible tell me where you got your Cantel at.

My wife who was a McKay and Married a MacKay wants me to make us both new Sporrans.

She is part of our local Pipe Band and just wants something a little fancier than the basic model we get up here from the local supplier $80

I found the belt chain from the supplier. Just waiting for it to arrive

Sort of have the design finalized( a couple more practice pieces before transfering it to the good leather )

But, a good supplier for the cantel is yet to be found.
