Members SimonJester753 Posted January 17, 2011 Members Report Posted January 17, 2011 I've seen dog leashes with braids like this. At first I thought it was a so called "trick braid", but the instructions for the trick braids I've seen involve making 2 slits in the strap so you end up with 3 strands and this seems to have just one slit down the middle. Anyone know of any instructions online for this, either video or diagrams and written instructions? Quote
Members rkissane Posted January 20, 2011 Members Report Posted January 20, 2011 (edited) It is called a slit braid and is use with horse tack a lot. Here is a nice PDF on attaching a string to a saddle that will show you how to do it. Slit Braid This will get you going. Ray K Edited January 20, 2011 by rkissane Quote
