Cogs Report post Posted January 19, 2011 1+ years tooling. 40 years ago I took a 4-H leather class with 2 brothers. One brother has stayed with it and does very nice high end work. He's my inspiration to taking it up once again. I don't sell. Family gifts consume most of it. I just enjoy the 'Me' time. My leather room faces a pretty little river where I enjoy a shot of Jameson, listen to Merle and pound some leather. It's peaceful. It works for me. I don't always follow the pre-made designs. I seem to come up with these ideas, search for photos that come close and sketch them into something I like. It usually turns out okay, depending on how much Jameson I had! :} I have a lot to learn.
