Red Patent Leather?

I cant find any good red patent leather, Ive bought some ugly red that didn't do the trick! Im making Saddle seat brow bands and need either a cherry red- almost maroon, Ive talked to one guy and he said to get it made up Id have to get $2,500 worth made up, and anther guy said he gets his from over seas? Id basically need one to two sides! Tandy had a sale a while back with patent and assorted colors, but NO RED! Needs to be nice red too!

Let me know if you have a lead...

I think i seen that Siegel's had some awhile back in several different colors.

I did buy some from them but the color was off,I used some in a pinch but it wasnt as cherry red as I wanted it was more of a muddy maroon. Siegals represented well when I purchased it, but it was a more earth tone then what the trend is...

Andrew I would call a few other Tandy's and see if they may have some red in stock I think all stores were shipped a differant assortment of colors. My local Tandy got there shipment and told me they didn't have any black at all, I then called another Tandy's and had 6 shipped the next day. At $20 a hide you can get alot and be worth paying the shipping.
