My First Sheath Knife

Hello I should do my first slider ... the customer asked me to do

a sheath similar or the same as above ... Where do I start??

Billio i would get a file folder lay the knife on your bench with handle off the bench. Then trace around the blade. After you have the blade traced add 5 to 6 mm to both sides of traceing for the welt and clearnce. Cut that out, trace that to another piece of folder and add what you need for the handle. The piece that folds over the handle on the front will need to be wider than the back and the blade to cover the handle. It looks like to me.
