Crathes Report post Posted February 23, 2011 Hey guys A couple of days ago i finished my second leatherworking project. It's a pocket for my leatherman made to be attachable to the sheath of my fallkniven s1. Here is some pics for you guys. Sorry about the quality, i used my mobile phone and im very new at posting photos in forums. My next project is going to be a sheath for the same knife, i just ordered the leather for it, and also the necessary tools. I am very nervous about making this sheath, im pretty pleased with the pocket i made, but the sheath will probably be much harder. It's going to be a flat sheath with a pocket for a fallkniven DC4, a loop for a firesteel and attachment options for my two backpacks and for horizontal and belt loop belt carry. As i said, this will be my third project. As such i am very nervous about the outcome of the sheath. I would love input from you guys about making such a sheath, some do's and sont's and stuff. thanks
Rickey Report post Posted March 6, 2011 (edited) I would recommend that you look around on this website to see other examples of knife sheaths to help you decide which way you want to go with your next project. What I have learned in my short time of being a member of this site is that most of the members are very skilled. Keep trying as we all get better with practice.
