Members oreana123 Posted February 24, 2011 Members Report Posted February 24, 2011 I have a Pfaff 1245 Medium weight sewing machine. It was capable of sewing much faster than I can accurately feed materials. I replaced the clutch pulley with a much smaller pulley from www.mcmastercarr.com . I can now easily feed heavy materials into my machine, at full clutched power. Removal of the original pulley required a 2 jaw puller, and I cut down the old vee belt and took that in as a measurement for the new, smaller vee belt necessary after this conversion. Apparently, even chinese clutch drive motors have a 3/4 inch output shaft, easily matched at the above source. Good luck John S Quote
