Members JRCHolsters Posted March 9, 2011 Members Report Posted March 9, 2011 Does anyone have a clue where I can find a Kahr CW9 dummy gun? Rings doesn't have one and I looked at Duncan's list, but they don't have one either. Any ideas? Unfortunately, I am in NY and can't just borrow the gun Quote
Members marine mp Posted March 11, 2011 Members Report Posted March 11, 2011 JRC, You can find one at ......www.e-cost.com. Go to the "search" and put in "asp red guns" and you will find it there. Semper-fi Mike Quote
Members JRCHolsters Posted March 11, 2011 Author Members Report Posted March 11, 2011 Thanks! I took a look and unfortunately, it's not the same gun. The one they have is the P9, which has a slightly different dimensioned slide. Just enough that they are not compatible. Luckily I am moving to S.C. late summer and won't have this kind of problem. Members jrvinny Posted March 22, 2011 Members Report Posted March 22, 2011 I don't know how much detail you put in your molding but a P9 should work for a CW9. I've used the CW9 for a P9 client. The only real difference in the two is the scallop cut on the front half of the P9 slide. The width and height of the slides are the same. Quote
Members JRCHolsters Posted March 22, 2011 Author Members Report Posted March 22, 2011 I bone my holsters pretty tight, but if they are that close, I can probably fill the scallops with epoxy to get them close. Thanks for the info! Quote
