Members salvi Posted March 13, 2011 Members Report Posted March 13, 2011 I have received my first bunch of stamping tools and I would like to make a beautiful stand for it. I have got a dense pine log so I'd need some ideas, patterns to cut and information about distance between and depth of the holes, Cutting patterns, pictures from your stands or racks as well as meassures drilling holes would be very appreciated. Thank you. Quote
gtwister09 Posted March 14, 2011 Report Posted March 14, 2011 Salvi, Here's some ideas of various ones. I have tried all sorts of ideas from individual holes, tool rolls and just about everything in between. I ended up making some that take the idea of a saddlemakers roll and then make it with a handle and make it have multiple positions so that you can see the end of the tools well like you do with rolls. Hopefully these can get you started. One of them has an old detailed CAD drawing of single hole models.
