How Do I Make A Rolled Leather Halters

Hi I am new here. I make nylon tack and have made leather halters. I have had someone ask me to make a rolled leather arabian show halter and I am not quite sure what to use. Any recommendations? I also make arabian cable halters. I am wondering if I should use the cable for strength or if the leather itself would be strong enough. This is not my halter but this is what they are looking for. Thanks

I would do the 4 strands diamond braid. I made a bridle, reins and a whip like that and it looks neat.

This braid is strong and round and looks very pretty. You can find many online tutorials on how to make them, and its very easy.
