Product Photo's For Web Site

Hello all, I do a lot of the web design and photography work for a company that supplies leather. I was curious if anyone had any input on what they personally like to see pictured in product photo's when it comes to leather in general and in my case more specifically leather hides that one would be considering for purchase? Specific parts of hides? Angles? Ect...

I hope I have posted this in the correct place. Thanks in advance for any guidance anyone is able to give!
