Members OutBackP Posted June 14, 2011 Members Report Posted June 14, 2011 (edited) I made my first edger up from a description in a Ron Edwards book. 4mm x 120mm heavy fencing wire, flattened on one end. Cut a groove lengthways with a dremal or hacksaw about half an inch up. Bend the wire up a bit. groove upwards. The use a triangular file to widen the mouth of the groove. Polish the bottom of the tool on a oil stone until it's nice and sharp. Clear?? No probably not, I'll try and find it and take a picture. Edited June 14, 2011 by OutBackP Quote
Members OutBackP Posted June 14, 2011 Members Report Posted June 14, 2011 Well couldn't find my old one so quickly made one up. Didn't have fencing wire so used a 2.5mm welding rod. With a little more work you wouldn't need to buy one. Just add a handle. Quote
