Members hardlivn Posted June 16, 2011 Members Report Posted June 16, 2011 I just finished a guitar strap for a guy and started to wonder if just the super sheen was enough.I'm kind of new to the art of leather work and would hate for the colors to run when he starts sweating on stage, that would suck for both of us.I got about 6 coats of it on there now all sprayed with a airbrush, any advice would be helpful thank you in advance. Members BigRiverLeather Posted June 16, 2011 Members Report Posted June 16, 2011 I would think 6 coats should do the trick. It helps to cut it with water about 50/50, the water helps and acts as a vehicle to get into the pores of the leather. Quote
