Members AtlLaw Posted June 29, 2011 Members Report Posted June 29, 2011 I'm making my first holster and have dyed it "British Tan" as that is very close to the shade of Russet I want. Although it is a close match to the color of the gunbelt I use, I finding myself wanting a better match, especially since I have decided to line the belt and stamp it with the same border design I used on the holster. So, the simple question: What is the best way to strip the top finish and dye off the belt so I can redye it a slightly lighter shade?
