Rumblestiltskin Report post Posted July 14, 2011 for any one needing to know....i did some more hunting about and discovered that the latch in question is officially known as ..... a Latch! or more precisely, a Latch and Link, often abreviated to an LNL fastener. Commonly used in racing, safety and parachute harnesses, as well as some aircraft.
