Members taylorbmcs Posted August 19, 2011 Members Report Posted August 19, 2011 Howdy folks. I am completely new and think I might wanna try this out. I was looking for some new chaps and just don't wanna pay when I could do it myself. I am wanting to make a set of batwings starting out. Nothing fancy , no tooling or anything just a good using pair. I am going tommorow to a randy store and talk to them about what I need. Just trying to get an idea of what I might spend trying to make a pair. Keep in mind I know nothing. I want roughout and basic yolks, probably gonna brand em. Depending on how it goes might try some taps. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Hope this goes well. Lately I have gotten lots of ideas in my head like leatherworking, and makeing spurs. So we shall see Quote
