First Two Weeks With New Cobra Class 4

Hello to you all. I would like to tell you about some of the pitfalls in my type of business. I am not ashamed to tell you that I have made a mistake. I am human and I will make more, but not this one. When I place an order with my factory in Shanghai, it takes about 30 days to manufacture the machines. I normally order 40-50 COBRA Class 4's. It then takes about 2 weeks to get here, and another 3-5 days in customs before they get to my warehouse. We then spend 6-8 hours on each machine to make sure that when it ships to the customer, it won't come back to us for a silly problem. In May, I placed an order for 50 Class 4's. We then went to the Sheridan Leather show at the end of May. We sold 22 Class 4's at the show. When I returned, I ordered an additional 50 machines thinking that I will now have 100, and when someone orders one, I will have it in stock. Here is where the problem occured. I did not take into consideration (my fault), that it will now take an additional 30 days to produce the product. Instead of the customer waiting approximately 6 weeks, it is now 10. This is a mistake that I made, and I only made it once. It will not happen again. I now only order 50 at a time. I apologize to everyone that this oversite affected. Thanks for the info Steve. I know I am anxious to get my machine, hopefully it lands in CA soon. We have already communicated about the possible arrival time and I'm sure it will be worth the wait.
