Members Medicus Matt Posted September 15, 2011 Members Report Posted September 15, 2011 Hello all, Been a member of the board for a few months but this is my first post. I mostly make sword scabbards and knife sheaths for re-enactors in the UK and Europe and thought I'd post this one that I completed this week for a customer in Sweden. The decoration on the leather and all the metalwork elements are taken from finds from the 5th century Danish bog deposits of Nydam. I'd appreciate any feedback. Quote
Members Dmitri Posted September 15, 2011 Members Report Posted September 15, 2011 Best I can say is it is quite lovely. I am with the SCA in Canada and I know anyone in my group would be pround to have this hanging from their belt. I am far from what would call an expert but from what I see it if great work. Did you do the metal work yourself as well? Quote
