Members jlaudio29 Posted November 24, 2011 Members Report Posted November 24, 2011 Ok so what i have done is taking the Reinforced throat idea that i love so much and am highly addicted to, and mixed it with some belt slots. Im not sure if im the first one to make something like this as far as putting belt slots with the reinforced throat. When i say reinforced throat i am refering to the wrap around throat support that we all know from the Milt Sparks VMII. See i have not done a traditional Pancake holster in almost 6 months, my orders just havnt called for it, which is fine with me because im not a fan of doing the belt slots. So i didnt want to do a traditional pancake and i had the creative freedom to make something new thanks to the customer. So this is what i came up with! Well anyways, even if im not the first, i think the holster came out pretty darn good, and it was for a gun that i HATE, The S&W Sigma, but even though i hate the gun it dosnt mean it cant be made nice by covering it up in some nice leather . No picture off the blue gun in the holster.. its already boxed up and getting ready to ship out to woodandsteel. Quote
Contributing Member TwinOaks Posted November 24, 2011 Contributing Member Report Posted November 24, 2011 Good looking holster, but sadly, you're not the first to think of it. However....for thinking of the design, AND PRODUCING IT, without prior reference....KUDOS! Stitching and molding look good....very nice execution of the design. Quote
Members jlaudio29 Posted November 25, 2011 Author Members Report Posted November 25, 2011 Any picture of previously made ones? I figured in all the years of holster making that it wasnt something new, but i came up with it on my own.. Thank you for the compliment i appreciate it. Quote
Members Andrewsky Posted November 26, 2011 Members Report Posted November 26, 2011 That looks really nice. What kind of tool do you use for boning the trigger guard area? Quote
