Members PineCreek Posted December 14, 2011 Members Report Posted December 14, 2011 Hi Guys, I am a novice leather hobbyist that is becoming obsessed with this craft. I have run into a weave pattern that I would like to duplicate, however I am at a total loss. Hopefully one of you can give me some insight [read: step-by-step instructions] for this pattern. Thank you, PCLW Quote
pabloz Posted December 14, 2011 Report Posted December 14, 2011 (edited) That pattern is done using a geometric basket stamp made by Clay Miller.... http://www.facebook....120176791368237 . It might also be made by some of the other tool makers s/a Elton Joorisity, Barry King, Lonnie Height, Wayne Jueschke, Bob Beard, Etc. Edited December 14, 2011 by pabloz Quote
dirtclod Posted December 14, 2011 Report Posted December 14, 2011 I don't think it was done with a stamp because if you look at the top of the picture you can where it's sticking up. What i would do is cut a sheet of paper into strips but not cutting the bottom all the way off. Then take a different color paper maybe two different colors so you can see just whats going on and start weaving. It looks like it goes under three each direction. Quote
pabloz Posted December 14, 2011 Report Posted December 14, 2011 WOW...I sure missed that one....it is woven. Quote
