Members azrider Posted January 1, 2012 Members Report Posted January 1, 2012 I picked up a jacket from the 50s that is labeled as deerskin, but feels like chrome tanned leather. Just curious about about the care for this one? I am assuming it is same as my motorcycle jackets, skidmores, and silicone to water proof. Does that sound right? Should fringe (only about 2 inches long) be treated the same way? Quote Drygulch Leatherworks- Baldwin City, Kansas www.drygulchleather.com
