MuleSkinninMama Report post Posted July 1, 2008 but when I went to register I found that I already belonged, lol. CRS I guess! Anyway, I'm from far N. California (State of Jefferson actually) and support myself, my Mules & Mustangs and my ranch with my business, Zinkel Long Ears & Pack. I'll try to remember that I belong now and come back more often... Now that I found it again. ;^) Now, if I can just figure out how to post this, lol. Storm Report post Posted July 4, 2008 Hi Rhonda, Don't mind Darryl. HA! Although if you hint to him that you see fields of leafy greeness he may sign up to have you take him up into the mountains. LOL! Out of curiosity...how long did you stay in Santa Rosa. Grew up on a ranch just outside of town at the head of the Valley of the Moon. You can answer this when you get back down from the hills. HA! Hope you had a good ride. Storm

MuleSkinninMama Report post Posted July 4, 2008 I see green fields all over up in the mountains, lol... But, the big question is... who the heck are you!? lol I lived in Santa Rosa area (Sebastopol to be more precise) when my kids were young... but, that's been a "few" years for sure. I know where Valley of the Moon is... but that area has out-grown me long ago. I've been up here in the mountains for the past 16 or so years. (Now you've got me wondering if my CRS is THAT bad that I don't remember saying something about SR...........) Hi Rhonda,Don't mind Darryl. HA! Storm Report post Posted July 4, 2008 (edited) Rhonda, No you didn't. Your name seemed familiar to me so I Googled it and came up with rescues wild horse(Very Cool) and there was a class reunion site and they had listed you in Etna and also Santa Rosa. So that is where the SR came from. Used to go out to Sebastapool back in the old days...Mid 70s and go to a pizza place called East of Laguna. Great Pizza and more kinds of beer than a place out to have. There was also a great rib joint called Jessie's Ribs on the road toward Cotati just outside of town. Sad to say that it is not like it used to be and then some. Was up for one day(All I could take) earlier this year. I had set aside a week to shoot photographs and just found my heart wasn't in it. Know this is a long shot but when you lived in Sebastapool did you ever meet someone named Gene Boudreau. He wrote a book back in 1973 called Trails Of The Sierra Madre. Great guy and a good writer. He used to pack in with horses along the top of the Sierra Madre Occidental down in Mexico. I am sorry. HA! Went on a bit long. Have a great 4th of July. MuleSkinninMama Report post Posted July 4, 2008 Well, how about that! lol If my class reunion people know where I am why did they never send me an invite to any of our class reunions! lol Maybe next one... which would be "interesting" after all these years, for sure! I remember East of the Laguna! Yep... gooooood pizza and beers! I'd forgotten all about them! (I'm a dark beer connesoir... or something close to that spelling anyway) And I remember Jessie's Ribs too! That's been gone for a looooong time too... and Cotati is nothing like it used to be either! Yuppieville now! I do remember that name... Gene Boudreau... but, I don't believe I ever met him... I wish I had. We would have had lots of stories to share for sure! And it would give me another place to "have to go pack" I'm sure. Speaking of which... I'd best get packin right now! Leaving for the Wilderness come sun-up. Have a great 4th. too... Rhonda Rhonda,No you didn't.
