Loydo50 Report post Posted July 9, 2008 I am new to leather working and I am looking forward to learning a lot. I remember as a kid going to Costa Rica for Xmas and getting little leather and wood trinkets as gifts. I used to get pissed of and ask WTF! Now as an adult I have grown to appreciate and love all of the little trinkets I did save. The craftsman ship of these poor merchants is amazing to say the least. Considering they do not have internet or books to guide them. These are all hande me down knowledge, skills, and tools. I can now only wish to have have a 1% of their talent. Any way,I have been building custom bikes for four years...mostly British iron. I needed a seat and had no money for one so I made my own. I think it came out ok for my first. That project is what snowballed into wanting to make other leather stuff. Here is a link to some stuff I have made. http://s177.photobucket.com/albums/w217/Loydo50/leather/ and here is the main link with some bike stuff. http://s177.photobucket.com/albums/w217/Loydo50/ P.S. I would like to thank singteck for his pouch tutorial on his blog. http://stleather.blog.com
