calanneh Report post Posted July 9, 2008 (edited) Hey folks, I finished the mate to my hachet cover. The hachet cover and ax cover are very similar, but not quite copies of one another. I put a loop on the back of the ax cover so it can hang on the wall for easy storage. The hachet hangs on my belt which in turn hangs on the wall. Pix of the hachet cover are in a post I did earlier today. The Ax pix are attached here. I almost made the ax cover too small. You will see a few extra sticht holes near the handle. When I traced the ax head, I marked where the handle come out, but did not notice the handle curves forward right away. LOL I also barely had enough room for stitching, even tho I added a half inch around the head then came in a 1/4" to stitch. The head was a little thicker than I calculated. But, you live and learn! I am happy with how they came out and it gets my ax off a shelf in the garage and up onto a hook on the wall! Let me know what ya think! cal Edited July 9, 2008 by calanneh

Surveyor Report post Posted October 14, 2008 Nice indeed. Go back with a "false stitch" in the remaining holes and that will be cleared up rather handily.
