foxy Report post Posted April 24, 2012 I am looking for some belt tips to cover the ends of a brass bracelet cuff blank. I will cover the blank with leather, braid and some silver and stones. But I need a cover for the end. Thank you for your suggestions.
Cyberthrasher Report post Posted April 25, 2012 Hi Foxy, I've heard good things about buckleguy in the past, but haven't purchased anything myself yet. I plan on it at some point though. http://www.buckleguy.com/belt-tips-loops/ Is that the kind of thing you're looking for, or are you looking for something made out of leather? Thank you--Yes that is the idea. I did order one from him, but it is too large. Some idea for something made out of leather???

Not really - but there are some pretty creative folks around here. Maybe if you were to wet mold something around the tip? That might yield some cool results. foxy Report post Posted April 26, 2012 Thats a great suggestion. I have never tried to wet mold, but have read some of the posts regarding the subject. Will any type leather work? I will do some research on the subject.

I will do some research on the subject. I haven't really done any wet molding myself, so I don't know if any type would work, but I do know that veg tan will. There's the wet formed bag tutorial up top that might give some hints.
