Hello, everyone! My name is Vail, I am 29 and I live in Missouri. I am fairly new to tooling leather except for a class I had in middle school years and years ago that I enjoyed immensely. A few years back my boyfriend bought me some tools for my birthday after finding out I was interested in it still after all that time, and I am so very happy he did! I've been basically self-teaching myself and learning bits and pieces online, but I feel it's something that was meant to be because it's come quite naturally. I prefer to do more unconventional carvings that I will then frame without the glass. I like vintage/retro type images and some nerdy stuff, too, but florals are also fun and challenging. I am hoping to stop procrastinating sometime soon and get a shop going online and actually start to sell and make a profit. I enjoy learning new things and tricks and hope to expand my knowledge over the next years.
