Members DDahl Posted September 13, 2013 Members Report Posted September 13, 2013 The Tennessee Attachment Company makes custom binders of any type for special applications (e.g. heavy leather). From what I've read you would need to provide a sample of what you want and specifically what machine you are using. They will build a binder that will work the way you want it to. However, it will cost you $300 or more for the binder. Worth it if it solves your problems. http://tennattachment.com/index.html Dave Quote
Members nategines Posted September 25, 2013 Members Report Posted September 25, 2013 Thanks for the advice everyone. I really appreciate it. I am going to be calling Bob today to see what he has for me. I found a few image of old singer 45ks on the internet. Some of them are a slightly different setup than the 45k25 that I have, but it appears that the cylinder arms is the same. There is a small bracket that is attached just behind the needle plate. I am guessing that it is for attachments like binders, folders, etc. Might be what I need? What do you guys think? Does anyone know what the part is called? Does anyone know where I might be able to find one of these brackets? Does anyone have one they would be willing to sell? http://www.industrialsewmachine.com/webdoc1/used/used-singers/45k.htm Quote
