1911 Holster

Hey guys my buddy has a bunch of leather working equipment. He said I could use what he has to build myself a holster. I figured I would save some money and do just that. I need help making a good holster, I'm not trying to showcase my work etc, I need a good duty holster here is, kind of what i had in mind, I do need to find a tutorial on you tube and ask some questions here.

Wondering if anyone knows how to do this and has a tutorial. Like I said I m not looking for beauty just something functional, (extremely functional) Im going to tomorow to buy a piece of leather. What else do I need. Oh I also need magazine holders. Like I said I’m not trying to learn the trade just trying to save some money.
