PD186 Report post Posted November 17, 2012 I started a couple of little projects but got myself down as I was making little mistakes but I recently got stamping step 2 book and had a close look at the projects and noticed that the same mistakes that I have made were in the book. This got me thinking about it and I suddenly realised that it is these imperfections in my work that make it special and not mass produced. With this new outlook on leathercraft I have again started with some small projects and I am very pleased with how it is going. I get pretty bent out of shape when I screw something up, but handcrafted items are always going to have variances. I feel like even the people who are the best at anything, be it leatherworking, woodworking, any kind of art or craft, can find imperfections in their work.
