SarahW Report post Posted December 5, 2012 Does anyone know if there are people around south richmond area who would be willing give a few tips and some guidenace to someone who is fairly new to the Leather workign world? I took some classes in College and have spend the last 6 months or so getting back into it. my skills are improving but if there is someone who has some time I would like to learn some new things I cant figure out on my own. David8386 Report post Posted December 6, 2012 I would check with a Tandy leather store if there is one close. If not walk into a custom saddle or boot shop they should be able to point you in the right direction. There is always this forum.ask away. What type projects are you wanting to do? Good luck David

halfwit Report post Posted August 29, 2013 I'm down here in Norfolk but I'm just starting as well but its good to know there are at least a few folks around this area who are dabbling in leathercraft. BTW I checked and y'all definitely have a Tandy store on the west side of Richmond. Thats the closest one to me too.
