KateC Report post Posted December 18, 2012 Questions Starting these braids, I used sinew to tie the leather back and bring it back over itself. What is the name of the strongest knot to hold these. I did my best but I know there is a better knot out there. Would google it to learn how to tie it. UV protectant. What is your favorite/best? I am in love with a product called Voigt Leather protec made by some saddlemakers outside of Sandpoint Idaho but havent tested it for this purpose and time is tight.
