Blakebcg Report post Posted February 1, 2013 (edited) My friend asked me to make a bracelet similar to this, except black with embossed letters. What are those metal clasps called? I know they arent rivets, because rivets are almost impossible to undo.. http://www.polyvore.com/bad_kitty_collar/thing?id=10838012 Edited February 1, 2013 by Blakebcg
WinterBear Report post Posted February 1, 2013 Try looking at Line 20 or Line 24 snaps. They may be what you are looking for?

LucM70 Report post Posted February 1, 2013 Have you tried looking at etsy.com ? Lots of great stuff in the " supplies" cathegory. http://www.etsy.com/listing/97225132/line-24-snaps-black-plated-10pk?ref=sr_gallery_18&ga_search_query=snaps&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_ship_to=CA&ga_search_type=supplies&ga_facet=suppliessnaps
WinterBear Report post Posted February 1, 2013 (edited) Yes, those are similar. Those are Line 16 snaps, so they'll be small. Generally, Line 24 are heavy duty snaps, and are most often used with 8-10 oz leather. Line 20 are a medium duty, and are typically used on 5-7 oz leather. Line 16/Segmas are typically used for garments, and are light duty. You'll also need to purchase a setting tool (and the anvil!) if you don't have one already. And etsy is a great place to find snaps in different colors or smaller amounts. Edited February 1, 2013 by WinterBear
