Fast Jimmy Report post Posted February 11, 2013 Hi, I have ambitions of learning how to do heavy duty sewing for car and bikes and I am as rank an amateur as a beginner can be. I just started a sewing class at the local Parks Department to learn some basics before I try more difficult materials. I have a Singer 111w155 missing the timing belt. I have a new belt but can't figure how to put it on. How much needs to be taken apart to be able to put the belt over the top cog wheel? I've gone to a couple of sites to see if I can find the information, but so far, no luck. It appears to me that the shaft needs to be removed to be able to replace the belt, yes/no? Any help would be appreciated. Jim
Cyberthrasher Report post Posted February 11, 2013 I have no experience with machines, but we have a sewing machine section down a little further that you might try if you don't get any responses here. http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showforum=
