Members Slow Learner Posted March 3, 2013 Members Report Posted March 3, 2013 (edited) Has anyone ever heard of Aguja Commercial leather sewing machine model number GNI-4A? I like a dummy shot my mouth off and apparently I am the new owner and I don't have any idea what I have. HELP Please Edited March 3, 2013 by Slow Learner Quote

Members Anne Bonnys Locker Posted March 3, 2013 Members Report Posted March 3, 2013 This look like it? http://www.ebay.com/itm/La-Aguja-Commercial-leather-sewing-machine-model-number-GNI-4A-Works-great-/321078116975?pt=BI_Sewing_Machines&hash=item4ac1bf426f&nma=true&si=YxoU59TQw8ySBVYnM4ByJsXqBAY%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 Looks like an overlocker to me, probably based on the old Singer 81 series. Members Slow Learner Posted March 3, 2013 Author Members Report Posted March 3, 2013 That is the one. How badly did I do? I can't find anything on the machine or the company. I tried to post a pic but I can't even do that well. Quote
Members Anne Bonnys Locker Posted March 3, 2013 Members Report Posted March 3, 2013 The GN1 series is the generic numbering system for Chinese clones of the Singer 81k series. I really cannot see any leather application for one. Have you paid yet? If not tell the seller that he is a crook for selling this as a leather machine and that you are going to report him to ebay and every other site he sells on. Quote
Members Slow Learner Posted March 3, 2013 Author Members Report Posted March 3, 2013 Thanks Ann for everything. I had paid but, it has been refunded and all is well. If nothing else I have learned to come here before I do something like that again. I guess I will use the old Singer 30 something 13 and be glad I have that until I can get what I need. Again thanks for being there. Quote
