Members harrington Posted March 22, 2013 Members Report Posted March 22, 2013 I am looking to buy a new splitter in the next couple months and wondered if anyone of you out there has experience with the Cobra or Artisan 20" powered splitters. I have heard some say they both have issues with sharpening and replacing the blade to get it adjusted properly. Any opinions? thanks,Tom Quote

Members cem Posted March 23, 2013 Members Report Posted March 23, 2013 (edited) Tom, there is a member here who bought the Cobra recently and they put up a review on YouTube. I believe there is also a recent purchaser of the Artisan I'm sorry I can't remember their names at the moment. If they don't pop in the next couple of days do a search for Artisan and Cobra and the threads should come up both have been within the last few months. Here's the Cobra one http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=44643 popped up at the bottom after I posted. Edited March 23, 2013 by cem Quote
Members harrington Posted March 23, 2013 Author Members Report Posted March 23, 2013 Thank you, I did get to see the video from the guy in FL on the Cobra, I was hoping to see him split a piece the full width of the machine at 20". I'll do a search on the Artisan. Quote
