Members cmantz Posted March 28, 2013 Members Report Posted March 28, 2013 I was at the Tandy store over the weekend and the lady gave me a slip of paper with a recipe to clean leather. I know it contained vinegar, acetone, distilled water and denatured alcohol. Does anyone have this recipe? Quote

Members cmantz Posted March 28, 2013 Author Members Report Posted March 28, 2013 yep...that's who gave it to me but the little note didn't make it in my bag. Do you have it? Quote
Members bikerbronco Posted March 29, 2013 Members Report Posted March 29, 2013 I think so. I'll look out in the shop tomorrow and post it here. Quote
Members bikerbronco Posted March 29, 2013 Members Report Posted March 29, 2013 This is what was on that note: Dye Prep 5 parts distilled water 1 part white vinegar 1 part denatured alcohol 1 part acetone Mix ingredients together and apply to leather. If using this formula to kill mold, do not mix in the acetone. This will make a great mold killer. Quote
