jk215 Report post Posted April 8, 2013 (edited) I see this seam done on most commerically available bags (the main seams that connect the bag body parts) and cant for the life of me figure out how it is completed. Dangerous Beans Report post Posted April 8, 2013 I take it you referring to the seam without any apparent stitching. That's a piping seam. Piping cord is incerted in a strip of leather then placed between to two parts making up the body. It's then stitched on the inside, usually inside out and trimmed.
