Members jk215 Posted April 8, 2013 Members Report Posted April 8, 2013 (edited) I see this seam done on most commerically available bags (the main seams that connect the bag body parts) and cant for the life of me figure out how it is completed. Anyone know what these seams are called or how they are done? Edited April 8, 2013 by jk215 Quote
Dangerous Beans Posted April 8, 2013 Report Posted April 8, 2013 I take it you referring to the seam without any apparent stitching. That's a piping seam. Piping cord is incerted in a strip of leather then placed between to two parts making up the body. It's then stitched on the inside, usually inside out and trimmed. Once turned back the right way, you have this. Nige Quote
