I am having problems with using Eco-Flo Super Shene and Oil Dyes, after I put a few coats of Shene I let the project set for a while and then after it has dried I apply my dye. But when I dye my project it all looks the same color and the area I placed the Shene on is not lighter!

Please help!!!

Thank you in advance

I assume from your post that you are trying to "block" an area. Spirit and Oil dyes aren't sufficiently resisted by Super Sheen. A better resist for that is Clear Lac. It will block just about anything.

There are posts here for use Super Shene (multiple coats) as a resist, not Satin Shene.
