Members JakeAHic Posted May 28, 2013 Members Report Posted May 28, 2013 I am having problems with using Eco-Flo Super Shene and Oil Dyes, after I put a few coats of Shene I let the project set for a while and then after it has dried I apply my dye. But when I dye my project it all looks the same color and the area I placed the Shene on is not lighter! Please help!!! Thank you in advance Quote
Chief31794 Posted May 28, 2013 Report Posted May 28, 2013 I assume from your post that you are trying to "block" an area. Spirit and Oil dyes aren't sufficiently resisted by Super Sheen. A better resist for that is Clear Lac. It will block just about anything. Chief Quote "Life's too short to carry ugly leather"
Members goldenstonebazaar Posted July 12, 2013 Members Report Posted July 12, 2013 There are posts here for use Super Shene (multiple coats) as a resist, not Satin Shene. Quote
