Members shannonc Posted June 19, 2013 Members Report Posted June 19, 2013 Hi, I have been reading up lots on how to get proper egdes on the out side of my yokes but how do people finish the edges on something what you have cut out of? I am finding that I cant get a nice smooth edge before I glue it down. And what is the best tool for doing the cut outs? Quote
Members silverwingit Posted June 22, 2013 Members Report Posted June 22, 2013 Hi, Shannon - Looks like we'll need more detail about what you mean here. If it's finishing your edges properly, you need look no further than here: http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=18101. Hide Pounder is the expert! Good luck, Michelle Quote
Members Cyberthrasher Posted June 22, 2013 Members Report Posted June 22, 2013 Sounds like you means when doing filigrees/underlay. Best method I've found is to use my bone folder to get in there. Quote
