Clicker Knife Or Japanese Utility/skiver Knife?

I was hoping you guys could help me decide between a Osborne style clicker knife or a japanese style utility knife. Is there a lot of overlap in functionality between these knives or is one better for something then the other. I imagine that the clicker knife is much better for small tight cuts and the utility knife makes a good straight cut. But if you could only have one, which would it be. I would be using it mostly for cutting out pieces from patterns (wallets, bags, small accessories). Nothing too complicated though. Just want to gauge everyones opinions on the pros and cons of both. (sorry if this has already been discussed in this forum)

I used a knife similar to your Osborne for years cutting leather. I now have a round knife and wonder why I didn't get one a long time ago. Pretty tough to beat a round knife for cutting out leather IMO. Watch Tandy's round knife how to video. The clicker knife is for cutting around patterns and sharp turns the Japanese one is for skiving and cutting straight or gentle curves but as mentioned above the round knife as I'm sure most would agree is better, Ideally you would have both a clicker and round knife they do different jobs.
