How Do I Pleat The Leather Like This

I tried to pleat the genuine leather to by using the warm water but it still cannot get the nice and fine pleat like the sample picture

P.S. also wanted to know how to pleat faux leather as well, THX alot

You have to sew the pleat in at the top then you need to use pressure/heat to set it. I use my iron on low with some newspaper in between it and leather to iron it.
