Members Chaizzzzz Posted July 20, 2013 Members Report Posted July 20, 2013 I tried to pleat the genuine leather to by using the warm water but it still cannot get the nice and fine pleat like the sample picture http://www.strictlyfab.com/2009/12/11/strictly-fab-trend-pleated-leather-skirts/ http://www.luxist.com/2007/07/23/miu-miu-pleated-leather-hobo-handbag-of-the-day/ P.S. also wanted to know how to pleat faux leather as well, THX alot Quote
Members Emmet Posted July 23, 2013 Members Report Posted July 23, 2013 You have to sew the pleat in at the top then you need to use pressure/heat to set it. I use my iron on low with some newspaper in between it and leather to iron it. Quote
