Members Dams Posted December 19, 2020 Members Report Posted December 19, 2020 Yes @Trox it is not a common brand. I really like this manufacturer. This plough, I finally bought, is one of the most beautiful tool I have. Quote

Members Nox Posted January 26, 2024 Members Report Posted January 26, 2024 Hi, everyone. You may already know? Alan R. from Australia has just informed me that Walter Roth died 1 year ago on January 18, 2023, he recently knew it because he could not reach him by email and his nephew replied when he looked at the mails 1 year later in January 2024. He apparently had a heart attack at work and died immediately. His nephew has all his tools and they will remain a collection… it’s a good thing! says Alan. My condolences, I communicated a little by email with him (we exchanged information, documents and I had helped him buy tools in France) and he was very kind, he sent me some gifts as a thank you. For personal reasons and health problems, it’s been years since I left the world of forums and exchanges on tools and saddlery after sharing a lot of documents and everything I could, but it makes me sad... Moderator bruce johnson Posted January 27, 2024 Moderator Report Posted January 27, 2024 Sorry to hear about Walter. We had some good email conversations. Funny Walter story - one of the first packages I sent went Express MaiL instead of Priority Mail. Not much more money, better tracking, and insurance. It arrived on Saturday. The postal service saw Express and figured Walter would want it right away. He woke Walter up about 6:00 am with vigorous knocking on the door. Walter had been out until about 2:00 am. Walter told me next time Priority Mail would be just fine. Quote
