Chris Johnson Report post Posted August 13, 2013 Hello and thanks for the great forum to learn and share the craft of leatherworking. I am new to the craft but thoroughly enjoyed my first project with an eye to more soon. This first project is leather bracers for my wife and I for the Renaissance Festivals. I kept the first attempt fairly simple to get the feel of how the tools work and such. I think the next bracers for myself will incorporate some of the chainmail I have been weaving. I have more of the process pics on my blog if anyone would like to see them; http://cjandbuster.blogspot.com/ Thanks for taking a look, let me know what ya think. :D Oh, I guess I also said an introduction.. I like long walks on the beach, watching the sunset..oh wait..not that kind of forum.. But really- New to leather craft, Also create make-up f/x, as well as Ventriloquism, magic, and animation. Too many Hobbies I guess, LOL.

Chris Johnson Report post Posted August 17, 2013 Thank you for the welcome Ray. I did learn a lot making them. From patterns to the tooling it was a fun process and I am hoping to make some knee-high moccasins as well. I think I will have another go at making some steampunk items too. The cool thing about leather working is that you can pretty much make anything and be as creative as you can. Have a Great Weekend! Chris
