Members whinewine Posted September 17, 2008 Members Report Posted September 17, 2008 I just picked up an S-100 Neva Clog stapler. We used to use them at tandy's to make belt keepers. Does anyone know what equivalent staples currently (and more importantly, EASILY) available will work in it? It recommends A-1000 or L-1000 staples. I have tried Bostich B-8 (1/4" 6mm crown staples) & they seem to work, but they must be specially ordered so I am looking for ones that I don't have to send away for, btw. Thanks. russ Quote

See zebmfg.com As a example, they say they have Neva-Clog A-1000, L-1000, B-1/4, B-3/8, and DJ340 staples in stock. Quote
Moderator bruce johnson Posted September 17, 2008 Moderator Report Posted September 17, 2008 Russ, I have a B-100 and was in the same boat a while back. I couldn't find anything locally. Ironically, the worst selections of staples I found was at... Staples. I ended up and got a box at an antique store. I am getting low on them and looking again. One guy I talked to said that some of the Arrow staples will work, but I haven't got around to trying them yet. Anything on Google searches leads to places with pretty big minimums that I found. Members whinewine Posted September 24, 2008 Author Members Report Posted September 24, 2008 OK!!! Through trial & error, I discovered that P-22 staples will work perfectly in the S-100 Neva-Clog. They come in 1/4" (6mm) & 5/16" (8mm) sizes. So there is no need to bid your life away on ebay anymore for them. Now, if I can find the equivalent for the D-30 stapler... Quote

I am trying to buy a good stapler for making belt keepers and someone suggested the B-100, guess I'll be looking for staples after I get the pliers, so thanks in advance for the information. :-) Quote
