Wanderinstar Report post Posted January 17, 2014 Can someone please tell me what diameter 1oz thread is? Also how does "60", "30" and "20" fit into the scheme of things. I am about to embark on making a pair of shoes and apparently need 1oz nylon thread. .I already have 1mm nylon thread that I use for all my leather work, but thought that this may be a bit large for hand sewing the shoes.
