Shoulder Holster Harness Material?

It's about time for me to place another order for leather, I have a shoulder holster design I've worked up and I could really use some suggestions on what to use for the harness? IE. what weight type etc? I'm also considering at some point doing one in full shark skin including the straps so any suggestions there would be helpful.

I just use 4/5 ounce for my straps on the shoulder holsters. I use veg tanned Wickett and Craig.

That's what I was kinda thinking Tony, I figure even with a Shark Skin Laminate it will not be to thick

it feels kind of stiff at first but softens up after a few hours of wearing.
