I'm not a leather worker, but sometimes feel like one, depending on how much sun one of my patients has had in the past I signed up, because I appreciate beautiful leather work, especially holsters and saddles. I, actually, found this site researching exotic skins for my next holster. Y'all are an interesting bunch. Such varied interests and expertise. Hope you don't mind my kind lurking around. I do work with hides, but it is of the human variety and while I have permission to use all surgical my photos for educational purposes, I don't think this is the right setting for that. I do appreciate the work that this forum's membership perform on the non human skin varieties and since I'm a consumer of such goods, this is an excellent way for me to learn the finer points of leather crafts.
