The customer only takes the revolver hunting and occasionally targets at the range. He wanted to make sure that it did not come out of the holster when moving through heavy brush. The thing weighs a ton so I don't think it would go anywhere. If it were mine I would not use any retention straps. That thing probably kicks like a mule, I will stick with my stealthy Bersa .380 Thunder.

Thanks for the reply. Yes that is a hunk of steel to lug around.

Not to hi-jack but I'm debating a small of the back "mexican carry" style holster as a cool project. I havent found one that I liked and if I made it myself maybe I'd get closer to what I wanted.
