needles Report post Posted March 13, 2014 hi everyone I dismantled and binned an old jerome sewing machine, saved loads of bits. gotta thinking about using the motor and foot pedal and attach a burnisher, there's a small grub screw which held the plastic pulley on, can be used to hold the burnisher on instead.... attach to end of bench, have speed control over speed of burnisher via pedal..... I've just gotta get someone close to home with a lathe to groove me some hard wood, drill a 6mm hole and attach to motor spindle.... do you guys thnk it will work.
