Members ferretray Posted October 10, 2014 Members Report Posted October 10, 2014 Howdy all. I am refinishing a holster. Removed the old finish, dyed and rubbed in a little oil. Ready for a final finish and am considering just using some quality carnauba/beeswax (Antiquax) rather than satin shene, etc.,. What say you? Quote
mlapaglia Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 Test it first on some scrap. IT might darken the leather. I use 1 part carnuba, 1 part beeswax and 1.5 parts neetsfoot oil. All by weight. Rub it in and hit it with a hairdryer to melt the wax into the leather. Quote
